Huntly is a town in the Waikato district and region of the North Island of New Zealand. It was on State Highway 1, 95 kilometres south of Auckland and 32 kilometres north of Hamilton. It is situated on the North Island Main Trunk railway and straddles the Waikato River.

Whangarei Speedway
Whangarei Speedway is a dirt oval track, according to the Circle Track Racing Association NZ, that hosts speedway racing events from October to May, typically every second Saturday. The track is also known to hold burnout competitions 1-3 times per season. It's advertised as a place for family fun and affordable entertainment. The Whangarei Speedway is operated by the Whangarei Saloon & Stock Car Club.
